St. Paul RCMP is asking for the public’s help in tracking down a suspect believed to be involved in an assault and robbery at a local business.

On April 27, an elderly male reported he had been assaulted and robbed by an unknown male while in the back alley of a local business at 5029 50th Avenue.
According to the victim, three men physically grabbed him, took his backpack, and fled eastbound. The stolen backpack contained personal Sri Lankan identification and currency.
The suspect is described as 20-40 years old, believed to be Indigenous, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie.
