In an early morning operation on August 6, the St. Paul RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in St. Paul, resulting in the arrest of two individuals on charges of possessing stolen property. Â
At approximately 6:30 a.m., officers carried out the search, which led to the discovery of a significant quantity of stolen items, including collectible coins, jewelry, and a variety of unidentified tools. The police have since seized these items and are currently working to identify the rightful owners of the tools. Â
As a result of the investigation, two residents of St. Paul, Brooklyn Gochko, 21, and Jennifer Gochko, 48, were arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. Â
Both individuals were brought before a Justice of the Peace, where they were released on a $1,000 promise to pay. They are scheduled to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Paul on September 5. Â
The St. Paul RCMP is urging anyone who believes the unidentified tools may belong to them to visit the St. Paul detachment during business hours. Proof of ownership will be required to reclaim any items.Â
