Just over an hour later, two suspects matching the descriptions provided, were apprehended by police and taken into custody.

The suspects, Fabian Gladue, 39, and Jordan Steinhauer, 40, both residents of Saddle Lake Cree Nation, have been charged with robbery with a firearm.

Both Gladue and Steinhauer have been remanded into custody. Gladue is scheduled to appear in court on August 27, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Boyle, while Steinhauer’s court date is set for September 12, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Fort Saskatchewan.

“This incident highlights the power of quick collaboration and teamwork between our detachments.
