St. Paul RCMP investigate fatal collision on Goodfish Lake First Nation

The St. Paul RCMP is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on the morning of September 9, on the Goodfish Lake First Nation.  

At approximately 10:59 a.m., the St. Paul RCMP received a report of a serious incident involving a road grader and a pedestrian on the Main Road near the community hall.  

Upon arriving at the scene, emergency crews confirmed that the pedestrian, a 34-year-old resident of Goodfish Lake, had tragically died from their injuries. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of family members.  

Although the investigation is still in its early stages, police have ruled out driver impairment as a contributing factor.  

The RCMP has extended its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased during this difficult time.
