In a joint operation, St. Paul and Two Hills RCMP have successfully recovered approximately $30,000 worth of stolen items following a break and enter.
The investigation began on October 8 when Two Hills RCMP responded to a reported break-in on Township Road 580.
According to information from St. Paul RCMP, “Investigation of the break and enter led officers to search a property in Saddle Lake.” RCMP members from both St. Paul and Two Hills worked together to execute a search warrant at the Saddle Lake property, where multiple items connected to the break-in were recovered.
“During the search, multiple items from the break and enter were located. Property from two previous break and enters were able to be identified,” the police reported. Additionally, a suspect vehicle was found at the scene with alleged stolen property in its cargo.
The investigation remains ongoing as officers work to determine if suspects can be charged. “An update will be provided if charges are laid,” police stated.
