Two men are facing multiple charges following an assault involving bear spray on October 8. The RCMP responded to a report of an assault with a weapon after four youth were allegedly bear sprayed in their vehicle in St. Paul. Â
According to RCMP, the youth were being followed in their vehicle before the incident occurred. Following the report, police quickly arrested and charged two individuals in connection with the assault. Â
Tyler Roy Desjarlais, 22, was charged with four counts of assault with a weapon and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. Leland Mitchell Jarvis, 18, faces charges of four counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Â
Both Desjarlais and Jarvis were held for a judicial hearing and later released with conditions. They are scheduled to appear in St. Paul Court of Justice on October 31. Â
RCMP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, urging anyone with additional information to come forward. Â
