Eight Cold Lake residents have been recognized with the Community Beautification Award for their outstanding efforts to enhance their properties and contribute to the city’s charm in 2024.
“Many of our residents are very proud of their homes and properties in Cold Lake,” said Mayor Craig Copeland. “This award program is a chance for us to reward those who go above and beyond to make their homes look amazing and keep our community looking beautiful.”
This year’s winners are Catherine and Alan Humber, Michelle and Link Law, Erin and Brody Laybolt, Shayne Leveque, Chris Lynch, Darren Pilisko, Francis and Melissa Roller, and Gayle Villecourt.
Each winner received $250 for their efforts. Participants were evaluated on a 15-point scale, with many winers achieving a perfect score.
The Community Beautification Award, established in 2023, encourages residents to focus on curb-side improvements that elevate the appearance of their homes and contribute to the overall appeal of Cold Lake. The program recognizes both residential and commercial properties fostering a sense of pride and community spirit.
