Over the past week, the St. Paul RCMP responded to 206 calls for service and executed four arrest warrants.
One incident occurred on January 11, around 8:00 p.m., when officers received a report of a fight near 52 Avenue and 53 Street in St. Paul.
Upon arrival, police learned that a man had allegedly tripped a minor, hit him, and uttered threats. Officers conducted patrols and located a suspect matching the victim’s description, leading to his arrest.
Josiah Perry Clarke, a 40-year-old St. Paul resident has been charged with assault causing bodily harm, and uttering threats against a person.
Clarke was held for a judicial hearing and has been remanded into custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for January 30.
